Printed on canvas, this “Hedgehog” mural by Korean artist Dear.Bon.Vivant features the face of a small teenage hedgehog. It is a typical motif of the artist, who has made it his mission to create particularly childlike and cute portraits of animals and people. Our gaze first falls on the hedgehog's snub nose and subtle mouth. From there, the light gray fur leads us towards the saucer-shaped eyes in which the surroundings are reflected. The eyes themselves are almost black and stand out strongly from the light background. Last but not least, we see the typical spines that are supposed to ward off attackers and the ears hidden in them. The proportions of the hedgehog are deliberately childish and invite the viewer to smile.
