Object Description & Interpretation
This wall art "Flower Fields" printed on a backpack shows a meadow with countless flowers. The horizon clearly divides the image into two halves. The lower half shows a field or meadow. Colorful flowers grow there, with red clearly dominating. Here and there, some blue, yellow, and orange flowers can be seen. A field path is suggested in the middle at the bottom edge of the image, inviting us to mentally stroll through the flowers. It is not hard to imagine the gentle breeze causing the flowers and grass to sway. In the center of the image, we see a clear horizon. There stands a crooked tree that has withstood the winds for countless generations. We cannot see the end of the meadow, and so the image creates a feeling of infinity. The deep blue sky draws the most attention to the flowing brushstrokes. These illustrate the dynamics of the sky and show the power of the wind whistling over the field. Some white parts of the image suggest clouds, and at the very top, we see a hint of yellow. Surely the sun shines on some clouds from this spot. All in all, the deep blue of the sky creates a cool mood. The red of the flowers also has a blue component and contributes to this.
